Solar Energy Wyoming State Incentives

Wyoming State Residential Renewable Energy Program

The following types of residential renewable energy systems can qualify for the Wyoming State Rebate Program:
  • Photovoltaics (PV)
  • Wind
  • Geothermal Heat Pumps
  • PV as part of a hybrid system

The following table shows the types of residential renewable energy resources that can qualify, along with the maximum allowed rebates for each type.

Photovoltaics and Small Wind
Incentive Amount $2000 per installed kW DC
Maximum Amount: Lesser or $10,000 or 50% of project costs.
Small Business property: $63,000.00
Schools: $210,000.00

*Grid-tied or off grid systems are allowed.

Geothermal Heat Pumps
Incentive Amount: $2000 per installed Ton
Maximum Amount: Lesser of $10,000 or 50% of project costs.

*Grid-tied or off grid systems are allowed.
