Energy Conservation Rebates for Farms
The following types of applicants are eligible to apply for the program:

  • Agricultural

The following table shows the requirements in order to be eligible for the program:
Requirements for Eligibility
The rebates will apply to the purchase of any of the following systems:

  • Clothes Washers
  • Agricultural Equipment
  • Equipment Insulation
  • Motor-ASD’s/VSD’s
  • Water Heaters
  • Motors
  • Lighting
  • Building Insulation
  • Lighting Controls/Sensors
  • Steam-System Upgrades
  • Furnaces
  • Air Conditioners
  • Boilers
  • Heat Pumps

Incentives are mapped out below:
Incentives
Lighting $0.06 per kilowatt hour
Propane $1.50 per gallon saved
Other Electric Savings $0.08 per kilowatt hour
Maximum incentive is 50% of installed costs.

BGE – Home Performance with Energy Star Incentive Program
The following types of applicants are eligible to apply for the program:

  • Residential

The following table shows the requirements in order to be eligible for the program:

The rebates will apply to the purchase of any of the following systems:

  • Water Heaters
  • Pipe Insulation
  • Lighting
  • Water Tank Trap
  • Furnaces
  • Efficient-Flow Shower Heads
  • Heat Pumps
  • Building Insulation
  • Air Conditioners
  • Duct/Air Sealing

Incentive Amounts are displayed below:
Incentives
Air Sealing: 15% of cost.
Duct Sealing/Replacement $200
Wall Insulation: 15% of cost.
Central AC: $175 to $350
Heat Pump: $200 to $400
Gas Furnace: $300 to $400
Gas Tankless Water Heater 15% of cost
Efficient Flow Shower Head 15% of cost
Water Heater Tank Wrap 15% of cost
Pipe Insulation: 15% of cost
CFL’s $0.50 per bulb
Attic Insulation: 15% of cost.
Maximum Incentives
Attic/Wall Insulation: $400
Gas Tankless Water Heater $150
Efficient Flow Shower Head $10 each
Water Heater Tank Wrap $15 each
Pipe Insulation $10 per system
Requirements for Eligibility
Duct Sealing/Replacement: 50%+ reduction
Attic Insulation: Varies
Wall Insulation: R13+
Central AC:
     Tier 1: $175 – SEER: 14.5+, EER 12+
     Tier 2: $400 – SEER 15+, EER 12.5+
Heat Pump:
     Tier 1: $200 – SEER 14+, EER 11.5+, HSPF 8.5+
     Tier 2: $400 – SEER 15+, EER 12.5+, HSPF 8.5+
Gas Furnace:
     Tier 1: $300 – 92%+ AFUE
     Tier 2: $400 – 92%+ AFUE with ECM or ICM
Gas Tankless Water Heater: Energy Star
Efficient Flow Shower Heads: 1.8 GPM or less
Water Heater Tank Wrap: R6.7+
CFL’s: Energy Star
