Solar Energy Washington State Incentives

Washington Renewable Energy Tax Exemption

Commercial, Residental, and General Public/Comsumers 100% Tax Exemption
Applicants will receive a 100% tax exemption after being approved for the following renewable energy resources:
  • Photovoltaics
  • Solar Water Heat
  • Wind
  • Biomass
  • Geothermal Electric

Utility Rebate Program

Washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers, and certain types of lighting that are energy star compliant can qualify for a rebate if they meet the preset standards set by your local utility company in Grant County.
Utility rebates are as follows:
  • Washing Machines: $70

  • Dishwashers: $25

  • Freezer: $25

  • Refrigerator: $25

  • CFL Light Bulbs: Up to $2.50 per bulb, excluding tax.
