Solar Energy Tennessee State Incentives

Tennessee State Utility Rebates
All TVA Partner Utilities - Energy Right New Homes Program
The following types of applicants are eligible to apply for the rebates:
  • Residential
  • Builder
  • Developer
  • Utility
  • Installer
  • Contractor
  • Multi-Family Residential

The following table shows the requirements in order to be eligible for the rebates:
Requirements for Eligibility
The rebates will apply to the purchase of any of the following systems:
  • Heat Pumps
  • Comprehensive Measures, Whole Building
  • Others pending

The rebate levels are mapped out below:
Site Built New Homes Plan: $300 to $800, depending on efficiency
Multi-Family Homes $100
Manufactured Home Heat Pump: $300
Equipment and Installation Requirements
Energy Right Homes: 93 to 86 HERS
Energy Right Platinum Homes: 85 HERS or less, but Energy Star Certification
Site Built Homes: All Electric
Manufactured Home Heat Pump: $100
 
All equipment that is the subject of a rebate request will be inspected to ensure the requirements on this page are met.
