Oklahoma Energy Efficient Residential Construction Tax Credit

The following types of applicants are eligible to apply for the tax credit program:
  • Builder/Developer
  • Installer/Contractor

The following table shows the requirements in order to be eligible for the tax credit:

Requirements for Eligibility
The tax credit will apply to the purchase of any of the following systems:
  • Furnaces
  • Heat Pumps
  • Air Conditioners
  • Caulking/Weather Stripping
  • Duct/Air Sealing
  • Building Insulation
  • Windows
  • Doors
  • Roofs
  • Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building

The tax credit levels are mapped out below:

Incentive Up to $4,000.00

Oklahoma Electric Cooperative
Energy Efficiency Rebate Program
Commercial and Residential applicants may be eligible to receive a rebate on the purchase of qualifying energy efficiency technologies, shown below:
  • Water Heaters
  • Heat Pumps
  • Geothermal Heat Pumps

The rebate amounts are listed below:

Electric Water Heaters: $180
Air Source/Dual Fuel Heat Pumps: $170/ton
Geothermal Heat Pumps $250/ton
The replacement of an existing electric system does not qualify for a rebate.
All equipment that is the subject of a rebate request will be inspected to ensure the requirements on this page are met.
