Nebraska Sales and Use Tax Exemption for Community Wind Projects
The following types of applicants are eligible to apply for the sales and use tax exemption program: Commercial Non-profit Utility Tribal Government Agricultural Residential The following table shows the requirements in order to be eligible for the tax exemption:

Nebraska Public Power District Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program
Builders/Developers and Residential applicants may be eligible to receive a rebate on the purchase of qualifying energy efficiency technologies, shown below: Refrigerators/Freezer Recycling Heat Pumps Air Conditioners The rebate amounts are listed below:
Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling:	$35/unit
Air Conditioners (window):	$30
Cooling System Tune Up:	$30
Air Source Heat Pumps:	$200-$300, depending on efficiency
Ground Source Heat Pumps:	$400
Attic Insulation:	$0.15/ft²up to $300

All equipment that is the subject of a rebate request will be inspected to ensure the requirements on this page are met.
