Maine State Rebate Program
Solar and Wind Energy Rebate Program
The following types of applicants are eligible to apply for the program:
  • Residential
  • Commercial
  • Industrial
  • Nonprofit
  • Schools
  • Local, State, Federal Government
  • Agricultural
  • Institutional

The following table shows the requirements in order to be eligible for the program:
Requirements for Eligibility
The rebates will apply to the purchase of any of the following systems:
  • Solar Water Heat
  • Solar Space Heat
  • Photovoltaics (PV)
  • Wind

Incentives are mapped out below:
Maximum Incentives
Solar Thermal Systems: lesser of 25% or $1000
Wind Energy Systems: Residential: $2000
Commerical: $4000
Photovoltaics: $2000
Requirements:
Photovoltaics and wind systems must be 100kW maximum.
