|
Technology |
Rebate Amounts |
| Any technology that reduces usage by a minimum amount

|
To view the full list of requirements and other limitations to this
program, please visit the
Energy Efficiency Program web page. |
Summary:
Connecticut electric customers that install energy efficient
equipment and reduce their energy usage during the peak hours of summer
and winter may be eligible for a rebate up of up to $600 per kilowatt
saved. Any customer building a new facility or retrofitting an existing
building that is located in the state of Connecticut is eligible to
apply. The key consideration for qualifying is that the customer's
proposed energy efficient retrofits/new building plans must result in
peak demand savings during the winter peak (5 pm and 7 pm from December
through January) and summer peak (1 pm and 5 pm from June through
August).
Examples of energy efficient technology that could qualify includes:
lighting and lighting controls, HVAC systems, refrigeration, motors and
variable frequency drives and energy efficient improvements to overall
manufacturing processes. |
