Arizona State Income Tax Subtraction for Energy
Efficient Residences |
The following types of applicants can qualify for the
Arizona State Income Tax Subtraction:
- Residential
- Builder/Developer
- Installer/Contractor
The following table shows the requirements in order to be eligible
for the tax deductions: |

| Home must exceed the 1995 Model Energy Code by 50% or
greater, which is determined by an approved rating program. |

| Sales Tax Exemption |
Any Commercial, residential, or consumer purchase of any
of the following products can apply for a sales tax exemption on the
purchase of the following equipment:
- Passive Solar Space Heat
- Solar Water Heat
- Solar Space Heat
- Solar Thermal Electric
- Photovoltaics (PV)
- Wind
- Solar Pool Heating
- Daylighting
