Hawaii State Personal Tax Credit
Solar and Wind Energy Credit (Personal)
The following types of applicants are eligible to apply for the program:

  • Residential
  • Commercial
  • Multi-Family Residential

The rebates will apply to the purchase of any of the following systems:

  • Solar Water Heat
  • Solar Space Heat
  • Photovoltaics (PV)
  • Wind

Incentives are mapped out below:
Incentives
Solar Thermal and Photovoltaics tax credit is 35% of cost.
Wind tax credit is 20% of cost.
Requirements:
System must be new and in compliance with all performance and safety standards
